How Globalcube helps · Japan, New Zealand & beyond

Grow by starting with the people you serve.

Get clear on who you help, why they choose you and where they are slipping away. Then build the customer journey, partnerships and systems that let you grow in Japan, New Zealand and beyond. Globalcube works alongside founders, directors and project leaders who want clear thinking and hands-on follow-through.

Yuzuru Ishikawa working with a client online
A calm, evidence-led process

First we find what is missing. Then we build the way through it.

We do not begin by telling you to spend more on advertising. We begin with the evidence.

STEP 01

Look at the evidence

Your service, offer, website, enquiry handling, booking flow, follow-up and any advertising you run.

STEP 02

Find what is missing

We name the one or two places where value, people or connections are missing, and which are most likely holding the business back.

STEP 03

Improve the journey

Clearer message, less friction, stronger follow-up — and paid advertising only where it genuinely helps.

STEP 04

Measure what matters

Qualified enquiries, appointments, sales, customer value and repeat visits. Not clicks or likes.

What we do

Three ways I help businesses and projects grow.

Every engagement starts with who you want to help, then focuses on the changes most likely to create lasting value for them and for the business.

01

Japan Partnerships & Market Entry

For organisations outside Japan that want to start or grow there: understanding Japanese customers and partners, the right introductions, a practical first step and clear communication in both languages. I also help Japanese businesses take their products, content and services overseas.

02

Direction & Marketing Leadership

Clear direction and hands-on marketing leadership without a full-time hire: who you serve, positioning, priorities, reporting and support for your team or suppliers.

03

Customer Acquisition & Conversion

Clearer offers, Meta advertising where it helps, landing pages, enquiry follow-up and booking journeys that turn interest into appointments.

Japan partnerships

A practical bridge into and out of Japan.

As a native Japanese speaker based in New Zealand for more than 20 years, I work in both English and Japanese. I help both sides understand each other: what customers expect, how decisions are made, and what a realistic first step looks like.

Into Japan

For businesses and organisations outside Japan that want to start or grow there. I help you understand how Japanese customers and partners decide, make the right introductions, and keep your team in Japan and your head office moving together.

Out of Japan

For Japanese businesses taking their products, content or services overseas. I help with local positioning, messaging and customer journeys, and with partner and franchise relationships.

How I can help

  • Introductions to Japanese partners, customers and decision-makers
  • A practical first-step plan for Japan
  • Localised positioning, messaging and customer journeys
  • Partner, distributor and franchise relationship support
  • Recruitment, onboarding and local team coordination
  • English–Japanese marketing and business communication

What I leave to specialists: legal and regulatory work, licences, import and logistics. When a project needs them, I help you find the right people and work alongside them.

About

Marketing advice grounded in real business operations.

I am Yuzuru Ishikawa, founder of Globalcube. Every project starts with one question: who is not being well served by the usual systems? For owner-led service businesses, that means finding the customers, partners and people being missed, then building practical growth without marketing theatre.

My work combines business strategy, customer acquisition, Meta advertising, websites and booking systems, customer communication and ongoing optimisation. Having worked inside service businesses myself, I know an enquiry is not a result until someone responds, books, attends, pays and ideally returns.

I work in English and Japanese, helping owners see what is working, what is wasting money, and what deserves attention next.

Yuzuru Ishikawa smiling during a conversation

“The goal is not to make your marketing look busy. The goal is to make it useful, measurable and easier to run.”

If we have been introduced

Start with who you want to help.

Most of the people I work with came through an introduction. If someone has put us in touch, the Before We Meet page is the quickest way to see how I think and what I am working on now. When you are ready, send me a short message through the contact form. I reply personally.
